LYME BAY WINERY
Inspired by the unspoilt Jurassic coastline of Lyme Bay and its local maritime history, here at Lyme Bay Winery we make multi award-winning spirits, English wines, ciders, meads, fruit wines and liqueurs at our BRC ‘A’ rated winery in Shute, Devon. Driven by a Devon-bred inventive spirit, our extensive range of unique drinks are crafted by some of the country’s most talented wine makers and have scooped some of the top awards the industry has to offer.
Being a Devon company means that we do things a bit differently – something that we are very proud of. We take our time to do things, we're more for sea-shanties than smartphones and we hands-down refuse to take ourselves too seriously. That has helped us to develop some of the country's boldest drinks creations. From Hopped Cider to Devon's first spiced rum; our entire range of multi award-winning drinks are driven by a passion for the exceptional.
And actually we’re quite happy to separate ourselves from the crowd, particularly if it means joining a long tradition of extraordinary Lyme Bay folk like Jack Rattenbury; a notorious, local smuggler dubbed the “Rob Roy of the West” and Mary Anning; a poor, local lass struck by lightning as a child, who went on to discover some of the greatest fossils known to mankind: these are our kind of people and Devon is our kind of workplace.
