  • Average journey times from Exeter to London Heathrow or Birmingham are under 3 hours. 
  • Recent improvements to the A30 and South Devon Link Road has improved access and journey times to much of Devon.

The port of Plymouth offers the shortest route to western France and the Iberian peninsular, via Spain, with regular services through Brittany Ferries. With Plymouth also offering roll on-roll off operations for goods and Teignmouth providing shipment of ball clay, animal feed and dry bulk, Devon is well served.
